Did You Know?

Liverpool are only the third team in history to win the European Cup/Champions League 5 times. Only Real Madrid, with 9, and AC Milan, with 6, have achieved that feat and extended it. That means Liverpool will wear a badge with the Champions League trophy logo with the number '5', to mark their feat, on their left sleeve.

Liverpool are so far are the only British/English team to retain their European Cup, back in 1977 and 1978.
